Treblemaker Fishing Charters – Capt. Mark Kornosky

Capt. Mark Kornosky has become one of the premiere fishing guides on Lake St.Clair.  Spending on average of 175 days per season on the water fishing.  An expert angler of all species of fish, but his true passion is chasing monster muskies.  He averages over 300 fish in the boat per season with 20 or more per season exceeding 50” or bigger.  He has over 20 various tournament wins including multiple first place finishes and has held the honor of “King of the Lake” title with the “HEAVIEST” recorded muskie from 2007 to 2010 weighing in at 54” & 42lbs.  With these kinds of successes, Capt. Mark knows how to put fish in the boat when it counts.  It’s this kind of experience and knowledge that allows him to be on the cutting edge of catching monster muskie.

Mark is focused on education and conservation as the founder of the “University of Muskie” fishing school, concentrating on helping others reach their muskie milestones.  Mark has taken this passion to help co-found a Muskies Inc. Chapter called LSCMI #58, and has served for many years on the executive board with LSCMI and MOMC Fishing Organizations.  He has served as a Regional Director with Muskies Inc. International and is dedicated to getting our youth more involved in the fishing community.  He is the Captain of Treblemaker Fishing Charters and the creator of the “Ugly Bait” muskie lure.  Mark spends lots of time in the off season painting and creating new muskie sensations.  Mark has been featured in an educational DVD with Walleye 101 expert Lance Valentine, helping teach others what it takes to catch more muskie.  Mark’s sponsors and friends include Drifter Tackle, St.Clair Bait Company, Tackle Industries, St.Croix, Traxstech, Ziggy Muskie Lures, Michigan Musky Shop, Jimmy Bucktails, Tyrant Tackle, FISHThANKS, and Anglers Point Marina and Tackle.
