The Wood Flaptail excels at being different from other baits.
Designed by Chippewa Flowage muskie guide Ty Sennett, the Wood Flaptail is a unique topwater. Creating a “plop-plop” sound while retrieved at a slow to medium pace, big fish simply can resist checking this lure out. Most commonly used in last light and night time, calm conditions, the Flaptail is a perfect bait to throw when your arms simply feel like they are going to fall off after a long day of casting, and ripping.
The Sennett’s Flaptail is also designed with a screw eye mounted directly on the tail of the bait. This screw eye can be slightly unscrewed allowing the rotating blade to “tick” as the lure is retrieved through the water creating yet another entirely unique topwater sound.
The Flaptail measures at 9″ long.
